How has your career developed since graduating from Ä¢¹½´«Ã½, and what is your current job role?

Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ was the foundation to my professional career. I learnt a lot about Banking and Finance and developed a discipline which was very helpful in my career. I’m currently an Investment Analyst at Saunderson House, which is a wealth manager in London. I’m doing fund research and I'm accountable for the responsible investing proposition and model portfolios. I’m also responsible for the Japanese and the US equity fund and market research. Previously I was an Investment Performance and Reporting Analyst at Architas, where I worked closely with investment managers to provide investment research and performance reporting.

Why did you choose to study at Bangor Business School?

It was ranked highly on Banking and Finance, which was the subject I wanted to study at university. I also liked the more remote location and nice scenery.

How has your degree and experiences at Bangor Business School influenced your career/life?

It provided me with a strong foundation in the field of Banking and Finance. It also helped me gain a place to study my Masters at Bayes Business School.

What advice would you give to students studying in the Bangor Business School?

Make the most out of the extra-curricular activities and try to get work experience over the summer. Participating in course-related activities and competitions gave me an excellent opportunity to improve my skills and differentiate myself from others when applying for jobs.

What was the best thing about studying at Bangor Business School?

Quality of education and the fact that everything was very close by, student halls and university campus is very close and everything is within walking distance. 

In what ways did studying in the Business School enhance your employability?

Participating in course-related activities and competitions gave me an excellent opportunity to improve my skills and differentiate myself when applying for jobs.
